A Play about Animal and Plant Biology.

Indiana Bones, the intrepid explorer is off once again to Peru, Cairo and Nepal in search of the truth behind strange goings on in the environment. Together with Mr Mustafa, a biologist and green fingered friend, Indiana Bones must hunt down a startling mystery...

Why are the natives so afraid of the jungle Why are monkeys stealing diaries? And why are the lemons in Cairo so huge?! Could all this be the sinister work of the evil Dr Ravenwood?

Indiana Bones, which explores the topics of animal and plant biology, is based on relevant sections of the National Curriculum for science.

Infants (4-7yrs): Explores the life processes of animals, where they live and how they survive in their habitats. We examine seeds & fruits. The parts of a plant & what they need to grow. We learn how to sort living things out & we look at food chains.
(Running time 60 mins including a Q&A session)

Juniors (7-12yrs): As above, with a more in depth look at plant growth, germination, pollination and fertilisation. We examine photosynthesis and seed dispersal. We sort living things out through vertebrates & invertebrates and the five vertebrate groups. Animal adaptation to habitats is explored along with food chains/webs.
